The four original ranks of color belts in the Songahm Style of Taekwondo are shown on the Songahm Star. They were yellow, green, blue, and red--all students began as white belts and worked to earn their black belts.
Other ranks were later added so that each color belt corresponded to one of the 9 Songahm forms and other rank material.
